.............why did his family not wish to disclose cause of death (earlier post)? Death is death. It's where we are all going. We have no choice in that, however we can choose to live large until that time!

Ken wanted it kept quiet.
It was who he was.
His family is respecting his wishes. The word is out on facebook - so fine. I have no control over that. But here on 914 world we will continue to respect Ken's and Ken's family's wishes.

Death is very personal and private thing to some people.
It's not for us to question their reasoning.

Because it's their own damn business, you moron. I'm not proud of how my dad spent his final days either, and I had to deal with idiots like you asking for all the details while I was just trying to keep myself sane.

Ken was a great guy and that's all that matters.

He will be missed. My best wishes to the family.
Yes we should memorialize the fallen members. I think it befitting tribute to tell the story of the people that love these cars, and the passion that they have for them.

We all come from different walks of life. You see this at every rally. What's truly amazing is that when it comes to these cars we can talk for hours and be very passionate about them.

I have had many conversations with him, and was wondering why I had not hear from him lately.

RIP

amen to that Rick. It was what Ken wanted and he was one of, if not THE most tolerant
people I have ever met online. Let's not spiral into a Godwinesque thread.

RIP Ken. I will miss your posts online.

Too many losses. Prayers for his family and loved ones.

If someone could PM me contact information for Ken's family, maybe in a couple weeks (after things settle down), I will contact them and we can do an article honoring Ken. Or, in a couple weeks maybe someone could forward my contact information to his family so they can contact me.

I would look forward to a tribute like that, very fitting.

Maybe you could write up something with what you can find out here and submit it for approval from the family, I suspect they would be touched by the effort and kind words from the forum remembering his kindness.

Ken was a great guy. Drove hours just for us to hang out when I was in Pittsburgh. We were quickly friends, and had some great conversations over the years. I will miss him.

RIP.

I think it would be a nice tribute to Ken that if one of the us who knows the family and can contact them directly, lets them know that the number of views we have to date about Ken's passing now stands at 2,277 views, and we have membership World Wide.

RIP Ken

For those like me who never met in person, can I assume that Ken is pictured with his four legged companion in the front. If not, could you point him out so I have face to remember. Thanks - it is a sweet picture. I now recognize that the cars I have restored will outlive me. That is just fine. May all of those who have passed find peace.
