Hey everyone
It is time to dedicate some attention to my, well, you already know don't you. I am looking to replace the original (yes original) carpet. I have been looking on Ebay and can't really tell what the quality is like of the kits that are available. I found one for 75.00 but the seller gave it a 5 out of 10. There is a supplier in OC califormia that I have spoken to that restores everything porsche and they have the original wool loop kit in original colors but that kit was over 500.00 Does anyone have a recommendation? I want to spend about 150.00 for a charcoal grey or black kit that will fit properly and look not like a crappy after market product until I can afford the real deal. Any thoughts? thx -jp- ps I have a 73 1.7 fuel injected model |

ok everyone
here is a another bit of and update. thresholds in minus the rubber door seal (on passenger side) that i had to get rid of due to the fact is was totally crunked out.. it only took a couple of smashed fingers and few exacto knife mis-haps and wrecking a dozen of those plastic rivets until i figured it out, but it was all worth it. btw who's idea was it to make rivets that have to have their prongs cut off. what a royal pain in the arse. and how anyone with larger hands and fingers than mine could manage i would like to know. the next updates will be steering wheel and new dash... until then thank you all for the help..
