When doing a quick pre-track bleed, can we just bleed the top nipple? Seems like the air bubbles would move up, not down.
This is on a stock 914-4 setup. |

I would agree. Only the upper ones will typically let air out.
I used to open both when flushing the fluid. It seemed to go a little faster. I think they put both bleeders on so they could be either right or left. On "normal" cars, the bleeder is on top to let the air out. |

Quickie bleed or normal--just use the top bleeder valve. You can pump a gallon of fluid through the bottom bleeder of the caliper and not get the air out of it...
