When doing a quick pre-track bleed, can we just bleed the top nipple? Seems like the air bubbles would move up, not down.
This is on a stock 914-4 setup.

I would agree. Only the upper ones will typically let air out.
I used to open both when flushing the fluid. It seemed to go a little faster.
I think they put both bleeders on so they could be either right or left. On "normal" cars, the bleeder is on top to let the air out.

Quickie bleed or normal--just use the top bleeder valve. You can pump a gallon of fluid through the bottom bleeder of the caliper and not get the air out of it...
