Nice project & build you propose there TC!
maybe you could eliminate the driveshaft & put the engine in the back seat with a 928 transaxle, & create a new kind of middie!? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) I remember that my uncle thought I was crazy to have paid as much for my used 73 914-2.0 - as a used `73 Camaro or Vette! .... until he drove in the 914, that is!
