Now it's time for a speedo cable question. Started to replace my speedo cable last night along with all the others. It's way too long. Must be for the pre-Cat/EGR counter. Is it possible to bypass the counter and go directly from the tranny to the speedometer?

No, not yet. I wanted to make sure it would work first.

It does work, you will no longer need the little box under the passenger floorboard. Just run the cable from the trans to teh speedo and be done with it. I thought Aaron was going to do those for you?

I think I'll just use the speedo cable like you said and eliminate the box. I'd like to pull it out of the car but I'm sure you have to re-wire something. Aaron didn't answer on the offer this weekend of beer and gas but he might end up doing the clutch cable next weekend if I can find the right one that fits.
