2 wires per horn.
I have a 12v battery. I hook 1 horn up and to BLOWS. Same with the other. Black to black to battery and white to white to battery and they just rumble. NO BLOW. hoq should i test wire? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) |

I guess it could be the amps. It is a 12v drill battery.

ok um ya ..... a car horn draws up to about 10 amps
ever notice that the horn circuit has a big fuse? |

So today the test moves from the bench to the watercooled VW, close to the bench. I'll use that battery.

That was it. They are plenty LOUD. next time i take my bumper off, the new horns go on.

If I remember correctly, the horns can be changed thru the fog light openings.
