Lots of work being done to Dad's (dare I say 'my?') grey car..
Engine is being pulled out, new gaskets going in. 007 Smoke screen kit is finally being uninstalled. New clutch and gas cable, brakes, etc.. His brother is covering the cost of all the work, Dad has most of the parts. |

you may want to relocate the fuel pump to the front
it gave him problems with vapor locking every year and he would say he was going to relocate it every year... but then never had the time. a good chance it will vapor lock and give you problems also. |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) And it will be less likely to get knocked off the car when going slightly off-road......... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |

Can we vote on that? I think I speak for most of us when I say that we would rather have her there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) |

Yeah, I was thinking about that but it's a little above and beyond for the scope of the work right now. When I get out of PHX it will be less of an issue but the 6 hour drive here from So Cal might have unintended musical and smoking breaks. My son Mike will be headed to Flagstaff from Phoenix on Thursday at some point and we usually leave Flagstaff Friday morning about 8. You are more than welcome to come along! |
