I am pretty certain it was on this board I was reading about a younger guy who everyone was giving advice to as he was restoring his first 914. Ring a bell to anyone?
I was thinking it might be a good use of parts if I put together a "care package" from the stuff I need out of my garage. It only helps these cars we love to have younger people have the same appreciation for them. I think many of us know the feeling of being gouged or sitting for weeks trying to find a part (most of us with 911's as well really feel that pain) So if anybody recalls where that thread was I'd appreciate it.
