Full Version: Young restorer thread?

I am pretty certain it was on this board I was reading about a younger guy who everyone was giving advice to as he was restoring his first 914. Ring a bell to anyone?

I was thinking it might be a good use of parts if I put together a "care package" from the stuff I need out of my garage. It only helps these cars we love to have younger people have the same appreciation for them. I think many of us know the feeling of being gouged or sitting for weeks trying to find a part (most of us with 911's as well really feel that pain)

So if anybody recalls where that thread was I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Chris

No, this one the guy was putting himself through mechanic school I think. I might have seen it some place else. Thanks though!

Might have been a 10yo thread as well. LOL.

Look at that! Nice work. I'll reach out to him and see how it's going. Might have some stuff I can send him.

Thanks for taking the time!
