More progress on the oil cooler install. The lower section of the duct and the outlet grill are installed, and I’m working on the flexible oil line fit.

I used M30 to 16AN adapters from Pegasus on the cooler. The flexible lines will use M30 on the end that connects to the Elephant Racing hardlines and 16AN at the cooler. The elongated hole the hoses are passing through needs some help though - thinking about making some sort of cover.

To dress up the nasty looking hole, I’ve made an aluminum cover. I think an oval grommet will work best in it due to the angle of the hose, but maybe round will work.

QUOTE(Mitox @ Mar 23 2026, 08:48 AM) *

The oil hose and fittings from Elephant Racing arrived this morning. I’m using 30mm to connect the hard lines, and AN16 at the cooler connection.

One note that may be of interest to some: the green stripe hose can be bent to about a 5” radius - measured at the OD.

Good to know as the standard lines are so rigid...a solution I was looking for. Thanks for all your posts with the details of the oil cooler set up. I'm going through the same fabrication process too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

You might be able to use one or two of these split sealing grommets - they are good quality and they also make double hole units:

I’ve made it back into the garage and have made a little progress on the oil cooler install. As suggested, I used an oval grommet, but I made my own plate so it would cover the full area.

I should be able to finalize the hose lengths now, and install everything up front.
