Hello,
I just wondering if anyone from this board will be at the SOVERN PNW historics at Pacific Raceway this 4 of July weekend? I would like to meet some members with like minded craziness for our Porsches.

Thanks

Not going to make it this year. First year not making it in a long time! Taking the family to the Oregon coast for a week of vacation instead!

It may have changed but the Sovern 'production year' rules kept 914s, and 240zs, ineligible other than perhaps a exhibition class exemption.

It was fun and an easy drive from my house, but now I'm wishing I had done the scca event in Portland instead. Like to see a larger variety of cars

Come to Portland next weekend for the svra event

Huge variety of cars
More than a few real F1 case will be there

And I will be racing in my -6. With lots of 914's expected

Ha!!

I've already got my next project lined-up. A Porsche-ized '65 Notch "S". It's gonna piss off the purists for sure. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

If that is the Mini with the Vauxhall engine, i.e., the entire front of the car is engine, then I raced him at Cascade Lake a few year back. Nice car.
