I just wondering if anyone from this board will be at the SOVERN PNW historics at Pacific Raceway this 4 of July weekend? I would like to meet some members with like minded craziness for our Porsches.

Not going to make it this year. First year not making it in a long time! Taking the family to the Oregon coast for a week of vacation instead!

I'm here today and tomorrow. Took a ride with a Pro3 driver around the corse in a new M4 too

To my surprise there wasnt any 914 racing at all!!! its wierd... where are all the 914's ... Did i pick the wrong car to build for this type of racing?? lol Except one very beautiful silver in the paddock area with the PCA group

It may have changed but the Sovern 'production year' rules kept 914s, and 240zs, ineligible other than perhaps a exhibition class exemption.

yup they ran em all off ..they are now eligible again..

Thats too bad. i think they would have done well against alot of the cars in the small and mid bore class.

I've already got my next project lined-up. A Porsche-ized '65 Notch "S". It's gonna piss off the purists for sure.

If that is the Mini with the Vauxhall engine, i.e., the entire front of the car is engine, then I raced him at Cascade Lake a few year back. Nice car.
