I picked up these driving lights for $35, they are Hella 4572R8 4571. One is a bit dinged but should clean up ok.
Dumb question but here goes: I believe these are original for 914 can anyone confirm this and is there anything i need to know before I start renovating them

Thanks

They might fit but they don't look like 914 ones.
Experts will chime in.

They are Euro 914 driving lights. They are also known for having 5 rivets.

Correct. . Euro's but be careful - the lens and lens retainer bezel have a slightly larger opening and only for these lenses which are larger than the normal TN 1-2 or TN4. The reflectors are not interchangeable with the 4 rivet housing units. These use an H3 bulb with a connection on the 5th rivet for the positive lead.
