Drill holes at the end of the cracks and keep using it won't go any further , your other options are more expensive,good luck.

I also have a case you can have. Shipping from Germany to Finnland would cost about Euro 30. If you are interested, I will send pictures. Keep in mind you will need to readjust the R&P if you change the case. Need to set pinion depth, differential bearing preload and backlash. What R&P mean? I sent you PM (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) R&P stands for Ring and Pinion. The differential gear set needs to be set up for the case it will be installed in. |

I was talking to 911 specialist today whit this issue, he said at welding old box is way to go in this case, it's not so bad (he has seen worst). Now I'm waiting the price for this and if the welder guy do it.. it seams to be bit dangerous operation because of Magnesium.. Let's see how this end up eventually (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)
