looks great (and familiar!)
I have a question on the front bumper - it appears to be "rolled up" to toward the top - as if somone was pulling up on the lower lip. It also looks flat across the front vs following the curve of the car (see pic). I am not trying to be an ass, I am more questioning if you had to remove a bunch of the bumper top to get it to fit or if the piece was actually molded that way. I think the above post nailed it - it looks really mean. Attached image(s) |

Scott, Not sure why it appears so? Maybe it's from applying a slight backward tilt during bolt-up 'cause I was trying to pull the top edge of the bumper up to the trunk seal.
I'm gonna look at it close tonight, now is the time to make changes, before the urethane goes on! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

Not enough room in the garage to check the front nose angle. My son is doing an engine swap, the garage is an obstacle course (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif)
Here's a rear shot ! Scott, put your eye on the rear and give me some feedback! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif) Attached image(s) |

Again - it looks really great.
I am jealous. You have the "good" 916 bumper with the correctly shaped license plate cut out and longer valance. When I bought my car it had that bumper. I was rear ended and had to replace it. After much searching I could only find the new style one that everyone now sells. It had bugged me for 10 years!!!!! Great job - as Nepolean Dynamite would say, "you have skills" (how are you at bow hunting?) Vote for Pedro...... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif) |

Looks great! It brings back memories...
Here is a suggestion of how to help that wierd 916 front opening look a little cleaner. I too hate the crooked cutlines, I ended up straigntening them out. Mark Attached image(s) |
