So plan is to mate to chassis this Thursday. Need to put some miles on and then redo

Thanks Dan & Tom.
I’m quite surprised at how well the engine ran prior to this rebuild. In addition to the sad valves on #4, all the valve guides were worn, valves had to be replaced & the case had someone in there before. Found evidence of Mr Rod knocking. It’s had a tough life. We will now treat with some respect. Porsche built some tough engines that’s for sure. |
