Looking good! Glad to see you are back at it. I was beginning to question your priorities. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

It’s not his priorities, his helper has been galvanizing all over the country.

Come on Dave.....maybe that's what you told you girl but you were
galavanting weren't you ?

nice work Dion!

Thanks Joseph.

Time for coffee & donuts. I had the Yeti filled with coffee while dealing with this donut. Donut is courtesy of Restoration Design.

After a few hammer hits to shape the donut to the contour of the curved kick-up, arc was then applied.

Latest task is the seatbelt bolt and plates.
Here’s a reminder pic of why this COTM car was torn apart.
Before i was going to install the six I thought I’d put a new carpet set in,BUT....
This is what was lurking under “nice” paint.

So got some measurements from the passenger side. Did a rough sketch of the set up
X marks the spot.

Used a metal punch to make a nice cut-out. Then did the same to the 16g plate.

Thank you all for the kind words & encouragement fellas.
I know my skill set does not approach
the talents seen on this site, I’m just very happy it is strong and sound again. Eventually
I hope I can make the metal work look better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Dion - You're doing great. The factory welding was nothing special. It got the job done.
