Thanks, everyone!! Appreciate the support. I know this product won't be for everyone—and that's okay—but it's something I wanted to try, and the best business model (I could see, anyway) to do so.

By the way Pete, great pictures on the website.

Currently using the Type 64 as a wallpaper on my 24" monitor, a higher res picture would be nice (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Ah, I wish I could, but have a creative director who (rightly) is vigilant to protect photographers' images.

And yes, Nadine and I will be subscribers...

When you back on the right coast again?

Many thanks, Bob and Nadine!

Part of this venture was to cut down on travel a bit...but we'll see if that was delusional. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Not been much of that lately, I'm afraid.

Forums, I'll admit, are my coffee (though I have picked up that habit, too...).

Thanks everyone...we're still on it. That flat eight 914 story for Issue 000 is more than 30 pages right now. Held the actual owner's manual for the silver car in my hands. Couldn't believe it. This is going to be a very special article, as it needed to be. These cars are even cooler than I thought.

Some of our friends in San Jose had a copy of the owner's manual for one of the flat-eight cars as well. Evidently rescued from a dumpster at the factory back in the day?

Any way you can follow up on this, Dave? There should only be two...and the factory has one. Would be great to close the loop on that detail if it was real.

Way cool...

Hey Cal!

That's the goal, hence the "anticipated arrival in time for Christmas 2016." We are hammering away at making that goal, though final OKs for a single article take 3-4 times as many hours as the articles I am used to publishing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif)

And you know what they say about print: It's forever.

I've touched it! And read through it of course.

But that was what, 14 years ago? Damn Alzheimer, i don't remember much of it ...

Got ny copy of 000 today! Still have not taken it out of the plastic wrap, part of me wants to preserve it like a rare collectable comic book.

I need to make a sleeve for it that reads "No reading of this magazine on the porcelain throne"

I received mine yesterday. Very nice magazine. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) Although, it's really more like a soft-cover book than a magazine. Fantastic pictures.

Looking forward to issue #1. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/popcorn[1].gif)

Mailman delivered my issue today, appropriately as I was playing around in the garage, putting the 914 on the lift. Very nice to say the least- first article I looked through was on the two 914-8's. Even though I'd seen many pix of both before, there were several I'd never seen before and lots of "new" info. It's going to take a while to get through the first issue, the "prototype"...
Nice start Pete!

Issue 001 came in the mail yesterday, another great publication.
Over 40 pages on the development of the 928, a few shots with them running cookie cutters which look goid on the cars.

Even came with a few decals.
