where is the ALWAYS ON POWER SOURCE UNDER THE DASH?

any advice ?

I have a 74 2.0 original Teener. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

Fuses 1-7 are not switched, so you can tap one of those to power the "always on" power lead of your stereo head unit.

I went to the back of the fuse block, you can find "always on" power there. Make sure to fuse it as close to where you tap as possible! I'll never forget the day my brother-in-law took me for a ride after he wired a stereo but didn't fuse it and left the wires hanging and not properly insulated. One hard right turn and something shorted out, the entire car was instantly filled with white smoke from the melting plastic!

it works beautiful. i put it on each fuses 1 thru 7 and it works.
and i did put an inline fuse about 6 inches from the radio.
