I'm booked at the super 8 Friday and Saturday night. Considering the auto cross Sunday.

......Autocross ? in what car pray tell (IMG:style_emoticons/default/w00t.gif) ?

hehe. I only have one. It has achieved unicorn status: heard of but never seen! We'll take care of that this year.

I booked last night at the Comfort Inn. While living in austere conditions such as southwest Asia or Panama made me appreciate an actual bed, it also gave me a keen interest in not contracting something infectious. So long Knights Inn (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

RG, I owe you a bottle of wine or something (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That is a negative, but I will have more of my wine to give to happy 914 owners this year.

I will bring the complete line of wines this year. Last year we lost our cab and zin, grapes were not good and they made a really bad wine......200 gallons pumped to the woods.

We even did a chardonnay for the ladies.....or an early happy hour.

Car is on the lift and getting preped...can't wait. Last years Friday drive was great.

Ok guys, are we going to do a drive on Friday? I'm planning on it even if I have to wing it. Who's planning on being there Friday ? I need and excuse to have lunch at the Devine Swine across from the Renaissance Fair. About 15 minutes from Hershey and I've never been to Gettysburg.

+1 Friday drive. Be nice to Bob. Maybe he'll organize it again (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It would be really nice if could we request PA put no construction vehicles on our route. I think we ended up behind one going 20 mph for about 15 minutes of our drive last year (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

I can agree about the construction vehicles . But do we really have to be nice to Bob? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I fully intend to be there this year since I have skipped the last two. However, due to surgery on my left shoulder at 5:00 in the morning, I doubt I will be driving a 914, but not totally ruling it out. Might trailer one up.

As for lodging, Knights Inn is tradition and all you need to make it bearable is a few shots from the gas can!

I got my Hershey reg today, we are in booth C57-60, our favorite spot, the C row.

Hope to see everyone stop by for a FREE gift bag, I'll put some special 914 ones aside, just tell my mom you want a 914 one.

Is the rodeway the 43 dollar dump? The price I reserved was 125 plus tax. It has decent reviews.

no you should be good there. The Knights Inn is the party one and as long as you have had some or a lot of the juice from the gas can its not bad. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) I moved to the Super 8 with some of the crew this year.

QUOTE(Big Len @ Dec 31 2016, 06:47 PM) *

" ask my mom questions about my childhood." That's a BIG mistake.

And no more Knight's Inn for me. You should have seen the room we had last year, right out of India, New Delhi probably and adjacent to the highway. You guy's remember that wonderful aroma from the farm directly behind after they put down their manure? No, I can't do it. I don't need the Park Avenue Hilton, but Jesus Christ, give me something without all the spiders, the noise, the stink, and a 7 year old mattress. No, I just can't.

I've stayed at a Knight's Inn in Carolina that was also scary bad. Sleep in a 914 would be better.
