And Nick Ventura races this car in a class by itself...

It is a 914, with a twin turbo, flat fan 962 engine

The 914 front firewall and rockers are still in place, and the 914 tub until the c/l of the rear shock mounts exist...

this is extreme 914

I wa a rather subdued race weekend by our standards. All we did was soften the rear sway bar, disconnect the front sway bar, and put rain tires on. And our cars finished 1-2 overall (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/beer.gif)

Insatead of the usual catastrophes

CMP: located, modified the exhaust and installed a replacement turbo , changed a rear trailing arm on the 99 car.

Roebling Road:did a top end job on the 29 car engine

Road Atlanta: never even made it, blew the car up while dyno tuning. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/unsure.gif)

I guess thats racing.
