Do you want it to look like a 914-6 GT wheel or something else?
If you want a look-alike GT wheel, I can sell you a correct core wheel that you or I can send to Dallas custom steering wheel and they can do a thick grip leather wrap that will look identical to a GT wheel. My wheel will cost $250 and the wrap will cost around $500 with shipping.

And mark's will not require an adapter that may or probably not be available.

Your choices are factory 4-spoke 914-6 GT wheel or 3-spoke vintage Momo Prototipo. The modern Prototipos have big-grain leather that just ain't right (and it bugs me every time I drive my 914).

The factory wheel looks like this:

As for the Prototipo, the old ones are $,$$$ now. So does anyone know a shop or craftsman/woman who can wrap a modern Prototipo in thick, tight-grain leather like the old wheels used? Someone who does wonderful work?

Thanks!
