I purchased a new throttle cable from Pelican. Yes it was the cheapest one they had. I figured it's a cable, how bad can it be. The ferrel that is on the end which mates to the firewall fell off when I removed it from the packaging. I installed it anyway. Needles to say, I am greatly disappointed. What a piece of junk. We used to run some really nice cables in the off road cars. Thick didn't bind etc. But the few places that used to carry them are all out of business. Please direct me to a good cable. I don't want to do this 3 times.

The Italian made Cofle brand cables are very good quality and work well. The Terry cables are heavy duty, but also have a lot more drag due to very thick cable.
