I've had this car for ten years but I'm getting older and my Cayman is much easier to drive. It isn't a concours car, it is fully caged and has a few warts. It was tweaked by Stoddard years ago and has most of the mods in the Panorama article attached below. Engine runs strong but rich, still needs some tuning.
1970 Porsche 914-6 S/N 9140432654 - Certificate of Authenticity Original signal orange - color change to diamond silver metallic many years ago. 2.8 Liter 10:5:1 compression, built by John Truman on an early replacement case (no serial number). Hydraulic chain tensioners. TWM throttle bodies, Electromotive Tec-GT ECU. Oil cooler in front trunk - second oil filter on ’72 911 filter console in engine bay. Optima battery in front trunk. Full roll cage tied into suspension points. Recaro seats (worn area on driver’s seat) Removable Momo “Competition” steering wheel Crow five point harnesses Early JWest Engineering Shifter - transmission converted to side shifter Later style “pull clutch” - no clutch pulley. Transmission has billet intermediate plate. Bridgestone 225-50 RE11’s on 7x16 Fuchs wheels front and rear. Solid front upper strut mounts 22mm Sway-A-Way torsion bars (original bars included) Tarett Engineering front sway bar and drop links (original sway bar included) Factory rear sway bar 250lb Eibach rear springs on adjustable perches (original springs included) 23mm Mercedes Master Cylinder (19mm M/C included) 911 S Alloy Front Calipers restored by PMB Performance 914-6 GT rear calipers restored by PMB Performance (calipers are in a storage box, currently M calipers on rear included) Adjustable brake bias valve between seats Brake cooling ducts Tangerine Racing rear trailing arms. Elephant Racing PolyBronze bearings front and rear. European Racing headers installed, original heat exchanges in good condition included. Dual outlet muffler.
