I'm prepared to entertain the possibility.
My maternal relatives are having a gathering near Minneapolis on July 4th.
Just (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) if I could hitch a ride to Duluth from my cousin after the family picnic, and rent a box truck to haul everything back.

Cut it up? Say it ain't so...!
What are the length dimensions? I'd have to get it shipped but I'd be interested. put me on the list for consideration behind Mr. Foley.

We could take up another collection for the transport fees for Chris. I'm happy to put a few bucks in for beer gas money.

I'm assuming "Chris" is Foley and not me. I'd chip in on transport costs to him.
I'd just like to help with the project, just let me know how.

Someone with the skills should take this project on! Here's a photo of a project that my friend did on another brand of sports car. Just takes skills, patience, and $$$$.Attached Image

Rick, Chris, what is the cost to ship it to CT?
I will chip in for that, especially since you need to move it within two weeks.

Rick, Chris, what is the cost to ship it to CT?

I haven't looked into shipping cost.
I did look at pickup truck rentals with the thought of towing my trailer round trip, but that would cost around $1200 before buying gas.
Next round of investigation for me would be one way truck rental back to CT with a flight out to MN.

I have a cousin who lives near Rick. If the car is definitely headed this way, I'm sure I can get Tim to keep the limo in his yard for a short time.

I have not looks in a few years but cross country shipping, if you are willing to wait for the deal, is less than 1000, sometime as low as 500

I recall there are two ways to ask for the price.

One is ASAP...that is more money.
The second is wait till someone has an extra slot on the truck.
That second way could mean a long wait, but its cheaper.

I posted on the other thread. I don't have the funds to transport it to Chris, but I have the time and the means along with the willingness to do so to save the project. I will gladly volunteer my services if you can raise the money to cover fuel cost.

The limo might require two extra slots in the truck.

I doubt a transport service would accept the limo.
They only move operable vehicles afaik.

I have a trailer that might hold the limo without the engine/tranny.
The deck is only 16ft long and it has a tire rack on the front that limits frontal overhang. It's a single axle trailer so managing the tongue weight will be critical.

I have an offer of a truck to tow my trailer which comes with a co-driver.
What remains is working out a schedule.
