In my search of some NOS sheet metal parts for my 914-6 I came across these...
I've never seen these around so I couldn't pass it up.
I'll reach out to RD about these as some have wanted these reproduced in the past.

Way cool .....
They would be great formed, rather than hammered out.
Thanks for snatching those up.

Luke,

I do have this part as well. And BTW, there is a smaller piece that is welded on the suspension console beside these parts. That of which I have as well. Hopefully I can get them scanned in the next couple months and start designing a tool to stamp these.

Keep looking for the NOS! There's tons out there still.

I'm still scratching my head .... errr (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) .... even though I do see it is formed for lines to run by them. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Hey Luke - There is a Parts Vault forum on here, where it would be most helpful for members if you can post these pix of them & the p/n's, etc. It has a specific format of how the mods/admins want them posted, so read their instructions at that forum.

TIA for that & for contacting RD! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)
Tom

I believe they are the pieces that tie the inner and outer suspension consoles together. On the car they kind of just look like a bunch of metal going across the upper wheelhouse piece.

Cary made some templates for me, and I was going to hammer out some of my own. But if RD has them almost ready to sell, I'm on board.

At Unobtanium we have a standing rule to offer all our NOS metal to RD first, most times they take it. Everyone should do this, it benefits the whole community to have a company with such high quality produce metal the right way and make it available. So if you have an NOS piece in the corner of your garage, pass it on to RD, everyone wins!
Here was one of the last piles we sent them.

You are correct..

I'll measure the thickness of the metal in the morning.

These are NOS, I just sand blasted and painted them because they weren't that pretty.

Its hard to tell if this is the part# from PET. The drawings are not exact and I can not find any other documentation.
