QUOTE why does it rotate? Camera orientation. There's a right-side-up way to hold your phone. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) |

I'll have to look to see if I have a pic, but I had a 914 painted in GM Autumn Maple Firemist, it really looked good with all the black. You have like metallic though.
The painter did his best to bring out the metallic without making it look like a dune buggy or a glitter boat. It was the 80's and I was very tired of a faded Saturn Yellow, which isn't my fav anyway. I spent a ton of time taking everything apart so it didn't look like a color change. Funny thing is the guy I sold the car to in '93 ended up repainting it a few years ago, back to yellow. |

mine, Paintcode 37X, Porsche HorĂzontblau Metallic. sorry I do not know if there is an english translation to this ... Iris Blue My 1986 Carrera factory color and name. I wanted to paint my 6 this color but was out voted. The 916 in SF was what I believe this color. Look at my DD Lexus in back. Very close. My dad always had medium blue cars when I was growing up. Pretty close to Phoenix red, but its Hugger Orange.
Really like it, just a tad more red than Phoenix. (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i719.photobucket.com-626-1307840091.1.jpg) (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads/post-172-1480623915_thumb.jpg) |

dark blue but no idea what actual blue shade but the previous owner said it is a porsche color. Looks like petrol blue metallic, a 928 color. Mmmm, i would say more like Midnight blue ... i'd love to see more photos of this car as its my favourite colour |

I ended up going with Lemans Blue with Super White rally stripes. |
