I just wanted to say hello. I'm picking up my 1st 914 I won over ebay today. 71 1.7L, a supposed 88K miles, looks to be in great shape. All she needs is a cluch from what I can tell. This will be replacing my recently departed 86 alfa spider.
Here are some pics I took sunday while looking at it. It is a respray, and I was wondering if anything can tell me if this is a factory color. It didnt seem to match any on the 914 color list (IMG:http://www.mypad.org/~chris/pics/914-1-small.jpg) (IMG:http://www.mypad.org/~chris/pics/914-2-small.jpg) |

On the inner drivers side door jam, there is a badge that says the paint code. It is opposite side of the badge that has the date on it. Prolly not the original color, as that looks like guards red, a 944 color. Mine is Guards Red also, but the original color was met. silver (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Nice looking car tho!
