My stock 1.7 w code motor is being built and will run twin 40 webers. The engine came with a distributor with the following part number 022 905 205 H and part of the fuel injection on it.
It has a vac advance and appears to be in excellent condition inside. Will the above carb / dizzy combo work? If not what set up have people found to work best based on my set up? |

it will work, but maybe not "best" for your setup
- the more important item is what cam you are using in your build ?? the D-jet cam is no good for your webers if you have different more aggressive cam, you'll want to have your distributor curved to match it's characteristics whatever you do - DO NOT get a "009" distributor an "034 SVDA" would be a better option - just go to eBay & search for "034 svda" and - google it - you'll find lots of folks on The Samba who know a lot about what you want to do |
