I have a 72 Beetle Cabrio, in nice shape. I bought it restored. I stored it in a shed, and the bumpers, wheel trim rings etc are now covered with rough rust (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/headbang.gif)
I tried chrome polish and fine steel wool..I will not live long enough to take care of it that way. I have searched and have been unable to come up with a supplier that I am comfy with. All of them have caveats about fit, "not OEM quality" etc. I want nice stuff, not cheap crap that won't fit. Even he usual suspects, Rocky Mountain Motorsports etc don't nake me confident. Any suggestions? |
