I have a 72 Beetle Cabrio, in nice shape. I bought it restored. I stored it in a shed, and the bumpers, wheel trim rings etc are now covered with rough rust headbang.gif

I tried chrome polish and fine steel wool..I will not live long enough to take care of it that way.

I have searched and have been unable to come up with a supplier that I am comfy with. All of them have caveats about fit, "not OEM quality" etc. I want nice stuff, not cheap crap that won't fit.

Even he usual suspects, Rocky Mountain Motorsports etc don't nake me confident.

Any suggestions?

If you can't find it here, you don't need it.

Wolfsberg West has the best but you will have shell out something like $300 each.

VW still has them....ouch.

The cheap ones are like 15-20 bucks a pop, you could buy a new set every year, for quite a few years, at that price.
