Help ! Looking for 5 1/4" replacement glass for door mirrors ('73-'76).
Ordered two "rare finds" from ** for $24.50 each, plus ship & guess what ? screwed again ! They sent 1/8" glass, so are loose in the frames when installed. Sent 'em back. The glass needs to be approx. 3/16" to fit snugly. Any ideas ? |

These do seem to stay in one piece when broken. If Mikey doesnt do them, I'm going to see about getting some made with the correct glass. But Im in no rush so I'm hoping 914rubber will make them first.
It is a pet peeve of mine that most of the resto parts made, dont fit quite right. Even worse when the seller pretends otherwise. |
