Please let me know how much it will cost with SH to 60018. I found one near my area. Seller wants $2000. Hope it's fine. Year 1987 THX for advice. |

That's a fair price for front and rear. The front is pretty much a bolt up, but most prefer an adjustable front swaybar.
You can use the rear calipers and parking brakes with some modification, and possibly the hubs, but of course the rest of the rears would be not useable. |

$2k is too much for core parts. Do You have something cheaper ? Not at the moment. But here's my thoughts on why it's too much: New shock inserts -$300 New bushings for A arms -250 Bearings for hubs - 75 Dust covers-10 Torsion bars are too heavy for 914, new -250 Rebuild f brakes - 300 New f rotors (you don't re-use old ones) - 150 New turbo tie rods -200 Brake dust covers -75 Rubber lines -25 Brake pads - 50 Front sway bar is too heavy for 914 and not adjustable. Rear brakes wont fit on rear trailing arms No e-brake unless you add tangerine kit Probably need to overhaul steering rack - 250 I would see what Rich Johnson - a914guy@aol.com has for sale. |

Check PMB as they sell kits to do the 5 lug conversion. It's all new parts but it uses 914 not 911 parts. Unless you need the larger brakes, it a great setup and much cheaper than buying those 911 parts and replacing the wear items.
I went the PMB route and am very happy. |

The picture of the Front superstation has one of the brackets holding on the sway bar is missing.
I would just go with a front suspension and do the rears by PMB; the issue is dicking with the eBrake. Bob B |

heh. I'd pull the 911 SC suspension out from under my car, and the 5 lug conversion (PMB drilled rotors, new bearings, low miles...) for the right price. not sure how I'd move the rest of the car after that, though.

The cool air scoops on the front brakes are pretty neat.
