If it has the original engine, around 100K doesn't seem totally crazy... Did Canadian 914's have ROW badging and lights??? I figured they were like USA cars except for the speedometer- maybe not? Maybe this will make it on one of their TV shows... |

How much is duty and taxes on a car brought down from Canada and is it a hassle? I bought a car in Canada recently. I found out if it's older than 25 years (which this is) you just pay duty on it. I think it's 3%??? I forget but for what I spent, it wasn't much. Now, as an FYI, if the car is younger than 25 years, you need a letter from the manufacturer that it complies with DOT specs. Most Canadian cars do as they're a NA model. Mine had KM speedo but the DOT deemed that was a minor labeling issue so off I went. |
