I am trying to lower the front of my car and the adjustment screw is not enough so I need to re-clock the cap.
I am having trouble getting the cap off are there any tricks to this? Is there any special trick to keeping each side even? I also will need a four corner balance and alignment. Is there any reputable shop in the central cal area that can do this? |

Hey Kelly,
There is nothing secret about pulling that adjuster out. Pull the actual adjuster screw all the way out/off and stick a small prybar (read that: screw driver) into the slot where you pulled the adjuster screw out and pry towards the back of the car. I reclock them all the time. With the suspension in full droop (car on stands) pay attention to where the adjusters "come from" (their starting location) and reclock them. I normally have to move them down to get the car lower. Sorry I dont have a pick of this. B |

Thanks Brad I they ended up coming loose they were just stuck with old dried grease.
So to set ride height I should jack the A-arm up so it is even with the ground and grease an reinstall the cap right? |
