OK, ya want rare and innovative? How about a streamlined 4 door sedan with a rear mounted aircooled V-8 engine, in 1936? Tatra T87 Total of 3056 produced from 1936 to 1950.
Could be a design study for the new 4-door 928, doncha think? (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif)

I remember my dad telling me he took a ride in an original Sunbeam tiger that made him wet his droors. I think only about 7,000 made. Probably not something you see very much of, even at car shows.

I had a 289 hipo Tiger, with Cobra goodies!

Nothing like a 914! I like 914s! (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/smile.gif)

Besides my 914 my other all time want to own car is a TR4A.  It is rare that I see one.

I saw one yesterday on the way to the beach. They are quick little cars. Of course, they are only point and shoot kinda cars (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/cool.gif)

You got that right! Long swoopy curves can be fun but tight twisties are a bit scary.

Datsun 510's were a blast.

One that "got away" from me in 1974, was a 1962 Corvette, black wth red interior, cloth top, original owner friend of my dads, 24,000 original miles, $1,500.00 (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif)
