I purchased a Triad west muffler a couple months ago and I wished that I new how loud they were. The You Tube videos did not seem all that loud. I'm not bashing the Triad but I guess that I would like a performance muffler with a little less bite. I'm all ears (get it) to any recommendations .

If it's just in that small band you might be able to weld in a Helmholtz resonator, though there really isn't too much space to put one. I've used them before to tune out certain frequencies for track noise limits.
