- Mark your items "SOLD" once you sell them. Please do not ask to have ads removed. Ads will automatically hide themselves after 30 days. We also ask that you leave your pricing in the ads to help others determine fair market value for future sales.

It's hard to tell for sure from that single picture, but it looks like your collars are actually in place in that cross member. Maybe that's why you couldn't find yours -- they were already there. Oh, geez, I'm an idiot. Bill's absolutely right. I took a closer look at them this morning and got them to slightly budge with a little prying - they are in there tight, but definitely in there. I guess with the initial dirt on them I didn't notice, and then when they were powder coated that way it looked like one integrated piece. Getting them out may be "fun." Sorry to waste everyone's time, but at least I'm smarter (marginally) than before. Kevin, I'll PM you. They get stuck in there as the bolt pinches the cross bar. Pry bar on the back bearing bracket should get them out. |
