I was wondering what fuel pump folks are using and like for a Carb conversion. Engine is a 2.0 upgraded to 2.3 with two Weber 44 IDF carbs.

Low pressure Carter pump mounted on front crossmember, not too loud, fairly priced and runs well.
I seem to remember the same pump comes from CB performance also. |

I seem to remember the same pump comes from CB performance also. Andy did you run @ full pump pressure or run a regulator ,I found my Zeniths ran better @ a lower pressure than pump supplied same with the carbs on my speedster (dcnfva Weber) seemed anything over 3psi was too much for the float needle and seats on both types of carbs. IMO the use of a regulator and gauge is your best friend. I go on but the use of quality (efi rated) fuel hose and correct fuel line clamps is a step ahead from a safety aspect. |
