I understand this years Boxters now have four cylinder engines. Was a six and now a four. The concern was that customers might feel short-changed, so Porsche spent some time developing a muffler with a macho deep tone, so it sounds great. Like a Ducati instead of a Honda. So my question is whether any aftermarket muffler manufacturers have picked up on that idea, to make an equivalent design to fit my 914 four cylinder, to make it sound good (not necessarily loud, in fact, quieter the better) instead of the characteristic VW put-put sound.

Triad gave my car a great low-tone rumble when I had the /4 in it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
