I've been sitting on what I believe to be a good, used transmission. I got it from a friend who knows these cars VERY well, but that was a long time ago and I always like to verify these things (within reason) myself. I'm changing out my clutch and my box needs some work, so now is the time to do it. It's not the end of the world if I have to swap my old box back in...
I got new seals all around for it, but is there anything I can check other than shifting through the gears on the bench to validate the syncros aren't toast? I'd rather not pull the stack... Thanks. -Aaron |
