914 CAD drawings/models... Does anybody have any? Options

Was curious if anyone had ever made any CAD models of a 914 (specifically in Solidworks or Catia?). Any cad models related to a 914 would be helpful.

I too am interested in a 914 3D model, so reviving this thread.

I'm a retired architect and 914 racer. I want to do some work on my 914 race car to lighten it. Before I starting hacking off big parts of the chassis, I thought I should do some Finite Element Analysis (FEA) work to understand what parts of the chassis/cage are working hard and what parts not so much. But before I can do any FEA work, I first need a reasonable 3D model. I have access to an educational copy of SolidWorks, so I'm in the process of starting to learn that package and digging into modeling a 914 chassis.

Before I do much modeling work, however, I thought I'd reach out to see if anyone out there in the 914 world might have already done this, and is willing to share. Came across this thread. Any updates? Anyone out there with a SolidWorks 914 model that's willing to share?

I've PMed OptimusGlen and Holtby914 already to ask them directly about this.

Handheld 3D scanners are getting increasingly inexpensive, which is making it more and more cost effective to have someone scan a chassis. But it's still in the $3000 range. That's a bit rich for my racing budget, but temping none the less. Anyone interested in partnering on such a deal? With 5 or 6 partners, that would be a slam dunk deal.
