We have made engine sound deadening back pads in the past, they were not quite right. I do have inexpensive options that work well, but I do like the factory look.
These are the felt like the OEM, only we treated it with scotch-guard to make it water repellent. We then bonded rubber to engine side to help keep water out and add an additional barrier that keeps out heat and sound. It looks more like OEM and will install like OEM. As an option -We can leave the "slots" that allow for the pad to stretch into the indentations of the seat areas (as shown). We can easily remove or you can cut out if you wish. I will be fitting this in my red car tomorrow to see if I want to leave it in. I think it will look more uniform, but when cut looks identical to factory at a fraction of the weight. Cost will be the same. So who's interested? PS Sorry for the crappy pics I'll get better up tomorrow Attached thumbnail(s) |
