I just got my wiring harness & MPS back from Jeff Bowlsby. Jeff tested my MPS & made some repairs to my harness. Jeff did a great job on the harness. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/pray.gif)
The MPS passed all of the tests except for the leak down test. The standard leak down is from 40 cm/Hg in 4 minutes, mine leaked down in less than 2 minutes. I was wondering if I should take it apart to try to fix the leak, or just run it. It's a sealed MPS that appears to be a rebuild. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) Attached thumbnail(s) |

I would not mess with it. All it will do is run rich, and in your case, not too bad.

Which looks like that might be good to run rich cuz the calibration is a little lean for my taste.

QUOTE Ok, I give away the secret settings here For a 2056cc you need at 0hg (WOT) about 1.50 -1.55 At 4hg (partload ) you need 1.26-1.28 At 15hg (idle) you need .74-.77 This gives you the proper A/F mix at partload about 13.7 to 1 and at WOT about 12.5 to 1 Write it down cuz this message will self destruct in 12hrs. Geoff Saved for posterity. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) |
