Doubt it was bored out. Larger pistons and cylinders are available as are stroke kits.

A friend builds VW engines that make 150 horsepower without breaking a sweat. These are NOT Type IV's. Not difficult and very reliable especially with the new cases like the White Rhino.
FAT or Jake Baby can easily squeeze 200 out of a Type IV.
