Started rebuild last September, not just a simple build. Dropped in motor after several set backs, and decided to eliminate the HE's for several reasons. Only to find out no way to bolt up cooling tins under the heads. Did I miss something, or is there a way I'm not seeing? At my age, I should be driving a golf cart instead of my 914!
Are the bottom cooling tins necessary to insure the engine doesn't run hot? Thanks to all who reply. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)
