Jeffery (914 7T3) pointed out factory parts from these fine Porsche people. These where so expensive from anybody that had a set left over just last year. $800 or so. What the market would bear. I remember when front targa seals where so expensive before George had a bunch made up by the factory some 8 years ago. The price of a good used
seal was one for $500.

Actually we have been making these for years also. The machined polished aluminum is actually a better product. Porsche did get that right. The old ones were not stainless (atleast the 2nd gen of them) In fact many of you had experienced what happens when these are left in place. Galvanic corrosion, this is why many were beat up being removed. Then the aluminum is polished it looks very close to the OEM ones. Thats why we made them that way.
