I found this in the Samba classified and since it was in Florida I desided to buy it.
This is what happens to a 'teener when you leave it sitting in the back yard in South Florida for a few years. The first picture was with the ad on Samba. So it has 916 bumpers and a good windshield. 28 year old German sheetmetal + semi-tropic climate=RUST Attached image(s) |

This is the second pic that was with the ad.
So it has a rear 916 bumper and a really cool l/plate, good lenses and the filler lense. Attached image(s) |

The interior shot showed a cool s/w and a console, From these items alone I figure I could get my money out of it.

So I headed out to West Palm Beach and found the car had been pulled out into the front yard. All four tires were flat. Luckly I have an electric winch on my trailer. Pulled it up and loaded the loose parts in my truck.
BTW, one of the loose pieces was the engine, a 1.7. Attached thumbnail(s) |

Is the rear bumper fiberglass? If so, let me know if you want to get rid of it.
