I had a look at my throttle bodies this evening (early mech injection) and there is some corrosion starting to creep in. It is still only on the surface and I want to stop it dead in its tracks. What is the best way to do this?
Thanks, Bob |

There isn't much you can so about the scaling, except for polish, and the scaling comes back.

i can only speculate, but as i have the same setup it is not idle speculation. "best" - probably remove, strip, mask, and bead blast the factory coating, then apply a thermoset coating like one of the GunKote products. KG Coatings |
